Wow the blog has been fun lately filled with our family adventures and I just love that! Sometimes as a photographer I prioritize my clients images over my own and while I take images on vacations I may not edit them for years .... or ever. Its kinda bad but this year I decided that I'd share all my vacations, adventures and more of my daily life on the blog for you all to see and get an idea of who I am besides just a photographer! Plus its made me edit my images right away which is an amazing feeling.
Chance, my studio manager, wanted to go to the Magnolia Market in Waco, TX. Her family almost took a long weekend road trip out there and I stopped them from going because its a long long long drive for a 3 day trip. My parents live in College Station, TX which is like an hour north of Houston area. So I invited them down for a moms & kids trip over the summer in June!
We all piled into her van at 4:00 AM in the morning on Monday and headed out the door, 4 kids, 2 moms, a car full of snacks and entertainment. The kids were remarkably good in the car... we only had a few struggles with them... like not wanting to each PB&J and throwing grape stems at us type things.
Besides visiting the Magnolia Market we picked blackberries, visited a fun fruit stand / market, swam in the pool everyday, watched a few fun movies when the heat was unbearable, rode around in the golf cart, went out to eat, shelled our own beans it was a great vacation! Brody, Chance's youngest, said that he liked Texas because it was hot.
